Here’s How Hidden Cabinet Hacks Dramatically Increased My Kitchen Storage

Part of the “charm” of Old Town are the small kitchens. You have to get creative to find storage and this article has some great suggestions for how to do so. One of my favorites is the door-mounted paper towel holder. I did this in my kitchen a few years ago (Thanks, Pinterest!) for a few reasons. First, counter space is at a premium. Second, who wants to see something as blah as paper towels on the counter– especially when you’ve put in the money and effort to make the kitchen pop? Enjoy these suggestions and good luck finding space in your kitchen!

 

Unless you designed your kitchen from scratch, with a custom layout and cabinets, it’s probably not perfect for your needs. But new cabinets can quickly eat up a small remodeling budget, and re-designing the kitchen isn’t usually an option if you rent. I won’t even get into the environmental impact of trashing old cabinets and producing new ones. Fortunately there are a lot of clever DIY ways to make the most of your current kitchen cabinets.
