Identifying What Motivates You
Motivation can be a tricky thing to harness, especially when you’re trying to stay consistent with workouts or personal goals. But sometimes, the simplest things can make a huge difference in pushing yourself to do more. For me, it’s all about the Alabama gear.
Why I Wear Alabama Gear During Workouts
You might wonder, why do I wear so much Alabama gear when I work out? The answer is simple: motivation. Yes, I love my team, and I love rocking crimson and houndstooth. But there’s something about wearing my team colors that makes me push myself harder. I refuse to be that person who slacks off in the gym or on the trail when I’m wearing my Alabama gear. It’s as if it’s a reminder to give my best, and it works for me.
It may sound silly to some, but it doesn’t matter. I know what drives me, and it helps me perform better. It’s a mental trick, and the results speak for themselves.
It Doesn’t Have to Make Sense to Anyone Else
Now, I know some might think that wearing the same shirt day after day is a bit much. But let me clear that up—I don’t wear the same shirt every day for my workouts. It’s about finding what motivates you and using it, even if it seems silly or unconventional to others. If something boosts your performance or helps you stay focused, then why not embrace it?
Find Your Own Motivation
The key takeaway here is that motivation doesn’t have to look like what works for others. It doesn’t matter if it’s a team shirt, a special playlist, or even a pre-workout routine. What matters is that it works for you. Find something that makes you want to push yourself further, and don’t be afraid to embrace it—no matter how silly it seems.
