We’re so excited to finally have a dog-friendly taproom in Alexandria! Lost Boy Cider recently opened in the Carlyle neighborhood just off of Eisenhower Ave. This dog-friendly cidery in Alexandria is a great spot for the whole family.
The most important factor is dogs are allowed in the taproom where there’s plenty of seating. We counted (all are approximates) three picnic tables, 10 tables for four, two tables for six, ~six barrels with bar stools, eight barstools at the bar and two seating areas with leather sofas (three sofas total?). We arrived shortly after they opened at noon and seating was wide open. But by the time we left a few hours later, people were rushing to grab our table. So, there are quite a few tables, but in the summer when everyone wants to be inside, get there early.
They also have a kids section with toys so the little ones can play, as well as corn hole. The garage style doors were rolled up to give it a nice, open feel. I thought it would be hot with the doors up, but there’s a large fan that we sat near so it actually felt really nice. There is a large, flat screen TV (maybe more than one?) so this could be a possibility on game day. And they have parking! This is a huge bonus!
We give Lost Boy Cider 5 Pups for allowing dogs in the taproom, lots of seating, a cool, clean place to relax and parking. We are so happy to have a dog-friendly cidery in Alexandria!
